Z2A Digital rebrand + website build

Brand / Web / Positioning

Z2A was already a strong company with a serious offer in the market. The issue was not substance but fit: the business was starting to press against the limits of the brand and web shell it had grown inside. I led the marketing side of the rebrand, worked with an agency partner on the identity and site direction, and then turned that output into something repeatable, scalable, and commercially useful for the next stage of growth.

What I actually owned

The agency helped produce the brand identity and website design work. My role was to make that usable inside the business: shaping the brief, aligning the positioning, pressure-testing messaging, and then operationalising the outcome through content and design workflows that could hold quality and consistency over time.

Research and internal alignment

A big part of the work was not visual at all. It meant listening closely to what buyers were actually responding to, aligning that with executive ambition and internal stakeholder views, and finding a framing the company could use consistently. The real challenge was turning scattered instincts into a story everyone could recognise, support, and repeat.

The strategic insight

The a-ha moment was recognising that buyers did not just want a cost-per-action model for one narrow outcome. They wanted that same logic applied across the board: installs, traffic, revenue, whatever mattered most. That insight gave the rebrand its spine. It is where the upward-arrow device came into the identity and where the line We do more. started to make sense as a genuine expression of the offer rather than a decorative slogan.

System, not just launch

The main work was taking what had been created and turning it into a repeatable and scalable system across content, design operations, and brand usage. That meant building a foundation Z2A could use consistently across the website, campaigns, outbound, nurture, and future demand work without the story fragmenting again.

Why it mattered

The rebrand gave Z2A a clearer narrative for prospects, a stronger inbound starting point, and a web presence that could support the next stage of growth. From there, I connected conferences, outbound, nurture, and podcast content into a joined-up programme and grew ranking search terms from 3 to 133.

Role and framing

This was not a claim to have personally designed every asset on the page. The value of the work was in turning agency output into an operating system: maintaining quality and consistency across brand and messaging, giving the company a more usable identity, and making sure the rebrand could support actual growth rather than sit as a one-off design exercise.
